Diamond Crest Homes started twenty years ago as a partnership between two fathers who wanted to better support their families. Bonded by the need to provide for their young special needs children, my father and his partner took on Diamond Crest Homes as a side business, originally building custom homes in St. Albert.

As I grew up, my playground ended up being their most recent home build. It was sawdust instead of sand and wall studs instead of monkey bars. A strong work ethic, an appreciation for collaboration, and the freedom to be creative were instilled in me at a young age.

After many years building beautiful custom homes for clients, my father was asked to transfer to Ottawa for his full-time job. He and his partner made the decision to fold the company. He packed up our family and we headed East toward a new adventure.

Ten years later, I incorporated my own home building company using the Diamond Crest in efforts to pay homage to the legacy in the name.

I began researching construction and development in the Edmonton area and found a niche in the luxury infill market. Growing Diamond Crest Homes from the ground up, I went door-to-door in an effort to find properties for sale in our city.

I was fortunate to knock on Mr. Herbert's door, securing my first piece of property and commencing my first build with Diamond Crest. I proudly named this infill home The Herbert, paying tribute to the kind man who took a chance on me and my business. At the age of 17 years old, I was designing, vetting trades and managing my first infill project.

Through building the Herbert, I found my love for architectural design and began to envision a future for Diamond Crest Homes in the luxury infill market in Edmonton.

Since building my first home with Diamond Crest, I have mindfully sought to garner relationships and insight from people connected to the construction industry here in Alberta. The mentors that I connected with have helped me grow my company from one infill project to nine new active projects in the span of eight months.

As my company continues to grow, I am proud to build homes that are designed to be different. With innovation and quality at the forefront of every build, Diamond Crest Homes is enhancing the infill landscape in Edmonton one home at a time.
